Beyond its acclaimed nursing programs, Sotos commended UCF for being exceptionally supportive of faculty development, education, certifications, research, and scholarly output. He emphasized that UCF creates an environment where both students and faculty can thrive.

"The best aspect of the job is the weekly teaching that I do with UCF nursing students. They are the best of the best, and I am very proud of them," Sotos shared, underlining the pride he takes in teaching and mentoring future RN colleagues.

UCF's global outreach also drew praise, with Sotos discussing the UCF Nursing in Mexico study abroad experience.
